Chocolate Reaches the Giant Center

After being dropped off at A Thousand finds for a cache, Chocolate hoped he could make the journey a little further up the road to the Giant Center. He was extremely grateful of Pendrgn for getting him this close to his destination.
He was then shocked when later that day Pendrgn and his wife stopped back, and Mrs. Pendrgn grabbed him back out to go to the Giant Center to see the game. They arrive early and got to their seats in time to watch some of the warm up. But unfortunately the one person Chocolate wanted to see wasn't here. He watched as the Hershey Bears warmed up.

Looking around he even saw the voice of the Hershey Bears. It wasn't until the first intermission that Chocolate finally saw who he came to see...
It was a great game to watch, and Chocolate was thrilled to see the Bears win this home game, and the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs...

After this great game, Chocolate asked Pendrgn to take him back to his home in Palmyra to await his next move..

Chocolate makes it to Hershey

Tuesday morning Pendrgn stopped by, and offered Chocolate a ride to Hershey Pennsylvania. Although Pendrgn couldn't get Chocolate to the home of The Hershey Bears,The Giant Center, he could give Chocolate a look at HersheyPark, and ZooAmerica.
They started their journey by heading to "Ye Olde Hershey Trip", GC1JJ72. After searching the Tudor Grill area, and locating this cache, they then headed to the historical HersheyPark Arena.

Chocolate was amazed and honored to be able to walk through this historical place, and view the history of the Hershey Bears. After touring the arena, Pendrgn then gave him a tour of HersheyPark.

Chocolate loved his first trip to HersheyPark. He only regretted the fact that the park wasn't open, and he couldn't ride any of the rides. But who knows, maybe one day he'll make it back while the rides are running.

They then headed to ZooAmerica, where Chocolate was excited to see all the different animals. Pendrgn showed him the totem pole that was carved with a chainsaw, then they saw all the different animals, including the black bear, which Chocolate wondered if they were related to him.

They then headed to Timber Treats to get their lunch for the day.

After a long fun day, Chocolate returned to his home in Palmyra to wait for his chance to move on to other AHL cities...

Chocolate settles in

Grateful for Pendrgn's help, Chocolate settled into his new home on April 19th, a sunny spring morning. He was eager to start traveling, and instantly began looking for other Geocachers to help him.

Chocolate spent his first night wondering how long he would have to wait until he was able to travel to his first AHL city....
While moving to his new home Chocolate started doing some mobile research. He discovered a list of the AHL teams at the time of his move, and used this to make his plans. Chocolate quickly copied down this list for anyone who wanted to use it:

Chocolate The Bear

Chocolate the Bear spent his entire life in the woods feeling that this just wasn't the life for him. He was constantly made fun of by his fellow animals for his unusual obsession with sports, especially AHL hockey. Then one day while traveling through a lightly populated area he was able to catch a recap of a Calder Cup playoff game.

It was then that he caught sight of a mascot, and knew it was his long lost brother. This only fueled his desires to leave the forest and travel. He began by searching out a generous GeoCacher, Pendrgn who was willing to help Chocolate out with his journey. Pendrgn provided him with an easy way to travel, through the help of his fellow Geocachers. Chocolate was also provided with a new home.

Chocolate was over joyed when Pendrgn suggested he move out of the woods, and into a geocache. It was then that Chocolate moved into the cache Dr. Johann Palm, Soldiers, Sailors & Marines . This home was quite comfortable for Chocolate, and he knew he it wouldn't be long before he was able to start his traveling off, and then return home again.....
